Yesterday I started my first day at 6th form, and I started thinking, maybe I should cut my hair. For a whole year now I've been growing my hair, and if anyone's suggested cutting it I've got mildly insulted, but  now I'm not sure if I'd like a bit more of a shorter, slightly trendier hairstyle that was a little easier to manage (mine gets tangled easily due to natural curls) and in the heat when I have to restyle it mid-day to a ponytail it can all go very wrong.
Problem is I love my shoulder length curly hair, and I'm always in a constant state of fear that one day I might lose my hair and I'll not have made enough of it! lol

Okay I'm starting to sound stupid now, but basically I'm going to ask your advice on what you think I should do.

Here as some pictures of me recently(ish):

Etc etc...

If anyone can think of a new way I could wear my hair like this I'd also be grateful, so far I wear it loose, in a ponytail, in a high ponytail with the bottom layer loose, and in a high ponytail with the bottom layer loose and clipped to one side.

I like experimenting with my hair though so it'd probably have to be a versatile style if I did change it.

It's hot. And you look like Kurt Cobain. As for the tangles... I think with your curls, tangles are pretty much inevitable. I often wear my hair loose while accepting the fact that it'll be very tangled, and accepting that I'll have to be patient in detangling at the end of the day.

Anyway... Kurt Cobain.  Wooo!

maybe not so long... the so-called "shaggy look", shorter around the neck and ears might look good...
