Hi! I am new to this board but I wanted to tell everyone about my extensions!

First of all I have been bleaching my nasty brown hair a light blonde for over 10 years now, and as we all know, your hair will start to crumble, so to speak, after bleaching it too much, I love platinum blonde, but having naturally dark brown hair made it an issue. My hair never could get past my shoulders before it THIN and BREAK!!! ARGGGGG!!! Seriously bad!

Then I learned about extensions! I could have long FULL hair :) and blonde to boot! So I looked up a TON of info on the good ol' interent and finally found a prospect in Seattle (Boogiemama.com) but it seemed far, me living in Oregon, and working Monday-Friday!

The ladys site is really nice and her work seemed very nice, she has photos on her site and even a calendar so I could find out her hours! So, I noticed her synthetic extensions we cheap comared to a place in Beaverton, Oregon that quoted me $900.00! Like, hello! I only make $8.50 an hour! And touch ups every 3 months! I think that was a little outta my budget!

So I went up for a consulation, told her I wanted it blonde and synethic, and gave a deposit. When in to get it done, I was nervous, my hair was damaged by me and I didn't wanna pay around $400.00 to make it look worse! It took 5 and a half hours (!), but OH MY Gawd! It looked soooo good! It hid all my yucky damaged hair and was LONG! It wasn't even heavy or anything!

It's been about 3 months now and I have lost a few extensions, not enough to make it look bad though, and I am planning my next trip to Seattle!

I just wanted to let anyone and everyone know that if you are thinking about extension and had bleached out hair like I did, I totally recommend it! It's totally worth the money!

And about synthetic hair extensions...I had them done in my hair, and the lady who did my hair said she uses a high quality synethic, I don't know much about that, but my best friend who hadn't seen me in a month seroiusly thought my hair grew that quickly. I have had SO SO SO many compliments from people, but I have heard bad things about other people doing them in someones hair and making them look very bad, so be careful!

OKay I dont have very many good pictures, since I chopped my extensions short and stained them a pretty light blue, but hopefully this one works ...

My hair before was very very bad! I don't think I have any photos of that LOL , but trust me it was bleached out and ruined! What she did made my "hair" look like real hair, the synthetics looked completely natural. ( my real hair in this picture are my bangs )
