We all know about Hairlocs and the opinions are mixed about the method, some love it and some hate it.
But, hey, thanks for the commercial, and feel free to come back anytime when you have something to contribute besides just shamelessly plugging your business!

I wasn't going to respond but here goes. -- metagirl, I feel that your post was not only rude but it smashes all of the individuals who post on this site and who promote their own businesses and/or products! Well respected and obvious individuals.
Admin Note: Advertising of services is NOT allowed under any circumstances on the HairBoutique.com HairTalk boards. This fact is listed very clearly in our Rules of Conduct for posting here. All blatant advertising is immediately removed with no exceptions.
I provided information to any individual out there who is looking for information reguarding extensions in NC. That is exactly what this site is meant for.
Admin Note: This site is not designed to offer free promotion of individual's business or services. Anyone wishing to advertise their services on Hairboutique.com can do so by sending an email to mailto:advertise@hairboutique.com - advertise@hairboutique.com .
Besides, I did not go and say we were the best out there or anything. I was honest and maybe a tad excited about our new website that is still undergoing changes but definitly viewable and informative.
As for the method of hairlocs, we all must remember that the method itself is only as good as the individual applying it. All of our customers are satisfied with the Hairlocs method. However we have had individuals who have come to us from another stylist, unhappy for different reasons, maybe their hair was shedding. We were able to identify that the application was done incorrectly and fix their problem. We saved a woman from having to take out all of her hair and put a smile back on her face. Our work is good and excuse me for wanting to share that with this forum. There seems to be a lot of love/hate on this forum for Hairlocs. I honestly believe that the Hairlocs method is only successful with a good candidate and a good technician. Anyone who is going to wear hair extensions has to also be willing to make the committment of maintaining the hair.
And.....If you wear hair extensions or even if you don't you will all want to try and get on a good Fish Oil. High in Omegas! Try Carlson's Cod Liver Oil. You can find it at a health food store. I honestly believe that extension wearers and non extension wearers should all try to stay on good vitamins to help keep their hair healthy and strong. Aside from the Fish oil, a good B complex is what I would recommend, and Bioten too.
My title of post was Hair Extensions in NC, and the reason for my post is to let all individuals out there near or in NC that hair extension services are being provided using the Hairlocs method.
If there is anyone else out there who has any questions or comment, please feel free to post.
Have a great day!
