hi to all

i'm new here so be gentle please  :)

i have a small tipping problem. I'm participating in a small class for the dry-cutting method. salon owners are teaching the class and basically needed volunteers to show the method on to their employees and other hairdressers that are in the class. my hair will be cut for free, which is great, because I'm a student on a budget and at this salon, haircuts usually run $65 and up.

my problem is...do I tip? and how much?

all advice welcomed....ASAP (the class is tonight)

If you volunteer for a class you don't need to tip, because you are agreeing to let them do whatever to your hair.  You could give them $10 or a nice thank you card.  Best Wishes.
