scarf all the time or just for bed,, becuz ive read thats
its good to let the scalp breathe,, also ive noticed that
mine get a little rough right after i wash them and
dont soften u till theyve been on my head for a

I sleep on satin pillowcases, but when I wear a scarf I wear silk. They are a little hard after you wash them, because silk is dry clean only.  I prefer silk scarfs over satin because I sweat less with silk, I don't think it makes much difference though.

I wear scarves and headwraps...i don't think any of them are satin. I just recently, started using my satin pillowcase again. But I don't notice a difference my hair grew either way and I never noticed breakage.

I think either satin or silk is fine. Both are gentle on your hair. I wouldn't wear them ALL the time though because the constant friction of them being tied around your edges and nape will eventually wear in those areas and cause breakage.
