They are definately both natural blondes. But you know how it goes, i'm natural blonde, but as I got older it went more a mousy brown and now I get terrible roots.
They were both really blonde as little girls but they're natural colour has darkened a bit. ------------- Nikki :) |

Recently I saw Ashley (obviously in a transition phase between the dark brown to light blond) in dark golden blond hair and I found it to be very flattering to her. The bleach blond thing is so generic these days anyways. |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I thought that was just the funniest thing EVER! And I was thinking the same thing! Personally I think that Ashlee looks better as a brunette. Maybe like a warm chocolate brown? The darker colors make her eyes stand out and make her look different from everyone else in Hollywood (although great color can only do so much!) From photos I've seen I think the baby blonde is a GORGEOUS shade, just a stunning work of art. But not a great color on Ashlee. I am considering drowning myself in that proactiv stuff if it will get me skin like her and her sisters! :) |

This color and style is by far the worst she has ever had... Shes not attractive, I dont think the really light blonde or the really dark looks good. Perhaps a dark blonde color, i dont know. To me she is a hopless case.. |

Am I the only that absoultly hated the fake black? It is far more black then brunette. I personally am not a Ashlee Simpson fan , I disliked her music before the SNL incident. I like either the golden blonde...not peroxide. Or the light brown. In my opinion she needs to find a stlye and color that is good for her and stick w/ it. This changing every week cannot be good for her hair at all, and I kind of want the Ashlee Simpson posts to come to a end for awhiler. When people dye thier hair TOOO heavy of a black it looks like a wig.
And black dye is so hard on your hair. (same with doing it far to

Both Jessica and Ashlee are no longer natural blondes. Like both of them, I was very blonde as a little girl and it seemed to get darker and darker as I grew up. Now its a medium-dark brown. I have seen pictures of Jessica right before she started highlighting her hair in highschool and it was a medium-dark brown. If you look, she has had her hair brown before and looked a bit more flattering with her skin tone and brown eyes than the blonde. I believe Ashlee's natural color is a little lighter than Jessica's natural as hers is a light-medium mousey brown. So they definately need to keep up with it. Personally, I don't see why everyone needs to be blonde these days. Brunette is much more flattering on natural brunettes and makes hair look shinier and thicker. Plus its way less of a hassle. I wish they would both go to a really rich chocolate brown or espresso with a nice tan. ------------- |

These girls are really boring. I agree, they are not lightblonde anymore. Probarbly dark blonde by now... I think its funny that they are supposed to be "good christians" and then doing things like dressing like jessica did in her new video. When paris made her hamburger commercial everyone went totally mad (even though it was paris, what can you expect) but i havent heard anyone say anything about jessicas video, in my opinion it is as bad as paris commercial. |

It does look nice, but I prefer Jessica blonde. Ashlee definately does not suit poroxide blonde that's for sure, but a natural looking colour works better.
I'm naturally mid to light brown, and have died my hair blonde for years, I have recently gone back to my roots and don't like it as much. I agree when you say 'what's with dying your hair blonde these days'which is totally true. Most people think blonde is better. I personally find brunette easier to manage and less hassle, but in all honesty I loved being blonde, and i'm going to go lighter as soon as. I find being blonde makes me look better and I feel more confident and sexy for some reason!! Don't ask why...I just do!! ------------- Nikki :) |

Ashlee looks good as a blonde, I just think the color she has now - really bleached looking yellow blonde - looks bad on her. And of course, it was black just a few months ago. She should tone down the yellow a bit and it would look better. The extensions she has also look ridiculous, if you've seen her new music video, her real hair sticks out to the sides and it looks really damaged and then she has shiny curly extensions underneath. lol. But I like this color on her

Amy, I don't think Blondes are more attrsctive, I actually think brunettes are, but as I suit blonde better than brown, it makes me feel more attractive. If I suited brunette better, I would stay that way.
I wish I had olive skin and brown eyes and be a brunette but I am pale with bright blue eyes, and suit blonde better. That picture of Ashlee is robab;y the nicest I've seen with her blonde but if it was a golden brown it would look much better! ------------- Nikki :) |

I've always thought she looked better as a brunette, but a few weeks/months ago I saw her at Jay Leno with her peroxide blonde hair and she looked really good. The golden/light brown doesn't work for her at all! I think she is quite pretty, but she seems to be really stupid... Her sister's a lot more fun |

it works... what can you do? Most women find brunettes to be more
attractive I've seen and heard... however I think Jessica and Ashlee are blondes and they look more natural being them. (if they aren't or are... doesn't matter anymore.) I like the funky long blonde picture with the dark eyes on ashlee she got a little over excessive on the eyeliner but its to look diffrent. Young girls now dont' want to look all natural and pretty. We aren't living on little house on the prarie anymore... We wanna look hard rock, punk... out of the ordinary. Cartoonish... Not real. Thats the way the cookie crumbles.... I like more of a golden natural blonde, personally. I dont like them brunette..it looks to fake. Unless you are really dark...and I dont think they are that dark. You would still need to be keeping up with the roots of the dark color...since your roots would be lighter.
