I'm a guy with like 2 inch sides and 3 inches on top, thick, course, frizzy. I'm going to start doing CO, CWC, or CCOWC and am wondering how often should I conditon?  Everytime I shower(which is everyday since it feels so damn goood) or like every 3 days?  Like should I CO everyday and CWC whenever I need shampoo?  Or should I only CWC every 3 days or whatever?

p.s. recommendations for light conditioner and shampoo? I am already using bumble and bumble super rich conditioner.

Wash your hair only as much as you need to, but always use conditioner in each hair wash.

The most important thing is to experiment with only one thing at a time, like if you want to try CO for example, give it a few tries over the course of a couple weeks. Experiment with different frequencies and take notes. Notice the results on the second day, third day, etc. and see how many days is "ideal" between hairwashes.

Then if you don't do well with CO, try C-COW-C which has a LITTLE shampoo.

and lastly, CWC has more shampoo than the previous two.

The important thing, in my opinion, is to use a wash routine (CO, etc) that involves only as much shampoo as you need.

Suggested light conditioners: Suave Citrus Smoothie, V05 Moisture Milks (I like the Tangerine, and the Sunkissed Raspberry used to be good but they changed the formula )
