If they are naturally shed hairs then you can`t minimize them. Naturally shed hairs are usually pushed out by a new hair growing in its place.

Everyday you shed 40 - 100 hairs. If you wear a lot of ponytails or held back styles you might notice it a little more because when you release the hair it will seem like a clump came out.

The best way to tell if a hair has been naturally shed is to look at the end that was closest to the scalp. If you see a little white or clear bulb on the end then it is probably a shed hair. However, pulled out hairs will probably also have this bulb on them. The difference between the two is you probably will not feel a naturally shed hair come out. But you can feel when a hair has been pulled or plucked.
