I was just wondering, as I'm sure everyone else is too, what did you decide to do with your hair?  Did you get a weave or are you wearing wigs?

Hey MetalMama & Nifty,

Well, I got the wigs, and they look, um, ridiculous. I can still wear the 3/4 ones, though; those look the same on me as they always did, but I really need to find a longer-term fix.

A friend recently suggested a netting-type method for me. Apparently the hair is cornrowed around the perimeter, almost up to the partlines, and a fishnet-type material is attached to those cornows, covering the majority of the head. Then, the wefts are sewn onto the cornrows. Has anyone ever had this, and if so, any opinions? The girl seemed to think a traditional weave would slip out of my hair very easily, even with synth hair added to the cornrows, because my hair's so thin, fine, and short.

Failing that, I'll probably just get my whole head braided, either pinchbraids (string-tied) or invisibles (tied off with the hair). The same girl suggested that if I got a whole head of loose braids, it might be best to cornrow all of my real hair to keep it protected. It's an interesting idea: I do think having thin, fragile hair like mine loose with extensions can cause damage because I have to do much more detangling than I would do with my own hair, but at the same time, too-tight cornrows can also cause damage. What's a girl to do?

At the moment, I'm waiting for a special order of my deluxe Jenny_RR special haar from Sara, so when it arrives, I'll have to make a decision about how to proceed. At the moment, though, the hair's just whacked-looking. With this color and length, it's sorta Suzanne Powder-meets-Brigitte Nielsen. Very action hero, lol.....
