Ok so I am doing a head of extensions today. We ordered 3 packs of Doc Locks pretips to do her hair, and she says there are 64 pieces in a pack totaling 192. Her hair is short, about 3 inches all over. Will this be enough hair? For those of you who have used Docs pretip, how big are the tips/how much hair is in them? (I havent seen the hair yet, just know what she has told me) Will she have a full thick look or will it be thin? Im just scared of getting over there and installing everything and then realizing there isnt enough hair :( Also how far apart should I be spacing them? This is my first time doing microlinks  on someone else and I am really nervous!

I had gotten doc locks pretipped and I'd say they are a good size at least for shrinkies....when I was doing pre-tipping I based the size of mine on those....not sure if it what you have will be enough...since her hair is so short it might be a little thin but I wouldnt think it would be that bad.....cant help you out on anything else...i'm still doing trial and error...when I have the money.....GOOD LUCK

oh i think awhile ago you asked about the WaWa plumb color I had gotten and I totally blanked it until I pulled it out last night......its got a kinda burgandy tint to it but it honestly looks mostly brown to me....sorry i forgot....

Do you know the weight per package of pretips? You really need to base it on weight rather than how many tips, since thickness/weight can vary so much with different brands/manufacturers of pretips. I used Docs pretips once but they were over sized so I really cant answer that.

I just took a look at Docs site, and the pretips come in 50 gram bundles so Im thinking that 150 grams should be a little under 6 ounces. And its 18 inch hair so you should have enough. I usually never use over 6 ounces for an 18 inch install.

But it is odd that yours are 64 tips per bundle, her site says 50 per bundle. Funny though when I got mine they were only 35 per bundle. But either way its still 50 grams no matter how many tips!
