Hey everyone.  I need help!!  I dyed my hair brown- thinking it was going to come out light brown but instead it is SOOO dark!!  Im going on a cruise and I leave this Sunday- I need to fix it before then!!  Aside from going to the salon (because as of now Im not sure if they can fit me in), are there any other ways to get rid of the color???  It was a Garnier Nutriesse dye..  Please, if anyone has any tips, let me know ASAP!!!  Thanks so much!

I've used Nutriesse. It will fade throughout the next couple of days. To help that....wash it with regular shampoo (vs for color treated hair). What color was it before?

umm  before, it was..well.. lol  i have naturally light brown hair- but i had it dyed to blonde- it was starting to fade and become this strange orangy blonde, so i figured id dye it back to the light brown and then have highlights put in it when i came back from my cruise.  but now im just freaking out bc it is SOO not what i wanted!!

Try also washing it with clarifying shampoo, or with baking soda mixed with shampoo half and half.  Both are very drying so be prepared to condition it super well after that with heavy duty stuff.

Sometimes darker eye makeup (eyebrow pencil and mascara) help you to like it better too.
