Hey.. I need some opinions!! =)

Okay as some of you know I got my extensions done.. (I got the cinderella hair fushion method)- Well I paid 1,000 dollars for it.. 300 for the hair.. 50 to have it overnighted & she made 650 profit!!  Well, my hair has been shedding like crazy & I know that its to be expected.. but, its shedding SO BAD! and Im afraid its going to get thinner..  yesterday for the first time a bond fell out (I've had them almost 3 weeks) - and like 6 or 7 of my hairs came out with it.. (Im not sure if thats normal) So, I emailed the girl who did my hair & she told me that she has heard of some people shedding alot and it could be because I didnt use enough dishwashing soap in my hair the night before I got my extensions.. (she said it was supposed to dry my hair out so the bonds would stay in better) & that I could come in and she would add some more hair... but I dont want to drop another 500 dollars??? I havent even had them very long! ugh... Can someone give me their opinion on this??

Thanks!

Not enough dish soap Did she want suds out the shower door. if you are careing for them as instructed and useing the right products then it is the fault of her install or the bond from cinderella.

I have been taking such good care of them!! I mean there cant be anything I am doing wrong... I use the cinderella shampoo conditioner... and the rest of the stuff she gave me.. but, I dont know what to say to her?? I mean... she has been really nice to me.. but, I feel like im being ripped off... considering she didnt blend my hair well at the top.. (its pretty short towards the top) so you can see where my real hair starts... and the extensions begin.. she said there is nothing I can do about that because of how long I wanted my hair extensions (20 inches) she said that if you get long hair extensions thats basically the price you have to pay... is that its impossible to blend if your hair is really short on top???? can someone tell me how to go about this? i mean my hair should be alot thicker considering how much I paid!!! ugh

Can you post some pics, there are some great stylist on this site, I'm sure they can give you some tips on how to blend your hair.

When ever I put extensions in I always have used `16-20" hair, and I have always been able to blend them seamlessly.

I wash my clients' hair thoroughly before installing a full head.  Then I cut to blend and style it and give them the home care maintenance and products if any.  I tell them to come back in 7 days for a complimentary follow up.  The only way I won't wash the hair is if they are getting my Special F/X - that is adding up to 20 strands of hair.  Cost is $100.

I did a Special F/X with Cinderella hair at one time and had never experienced any shedding.  I find that the shedding is due to improper coating - which means not using enough glue.  One has to use enough glue on the desired strand to be extended.

If it is done properly, I swear to you Cinderella strands WILL NOT shed.  Like I said, I have installed a Special F/X on a client who I told to shampoo her own hair.

Gees, some stylists suck at fusion.

Julzz, you have to compare it to the shedding hairs in your hair brush.  It could mean a lot of things.  You could be pulling or picking on it.  Hair Extensions in the first place is a 'dessert' for the hair.  It is not a 'necessity'- get it?

Yes,

Im about to just have them taken out... the shedding is driving me crazy & I dont think they look very good in the back considering you can see the differences in each...  the blending is just very sh*tty...

i spoke with my mum about this is as well - we both have realy really thick hair - and sumtimes in the shower i see hairs that have white heads on them hve fallin out- i know this is meant to mean the hair is being pulled out but i have seen this when ive not been wearing extensions tying my hair in pony or even brushing my hair (cos its curly) same as my mum - therfore i dont think all hairs with white bulbs mean they have been pulled out at the roots - i get them and my hair is thick - maybe if you are gettng lots i would worry but a few i think is fine
