My Wa Wa order arrived this evening. Oh my goodness, that stuff is so silky! I can't stop running my fingers through it.

I only on 1 week of my plastikhaar bonded wefts and I'm totally diggin' it, but I must say, this Wa Wa sure feels more silky than the Plastikhaar ever did. For those who have worn Wa Wa, am I going to have a rude awakening the first time it's washed or something?

It's 33 Dark Auburn, Straight, and it's so silky and soft I love it. Pray it stays that way. I thought I'd try it because I didn't want to wait 5 weeks for the next Plastikhaar order. I'm hoping these wefts stay in for at least 4 weeks. I've already touched up edges where the weft was pulling away but I admit I didn't sandwich or even do those side tab thingys. I was afraid of straight LG in my hair and I now realize there is NOTHING to be afraid of. It's holding nicely enough with some touch ups but I'm looking forward to trying that tape with the Wa Wa once Amanda gives the final report.

For those who have tried Wa Wa and Plastikhaar, which do you prefer and why? Does it depend on color and wave? Because my Plastikhaar never felt so lovely as this Wa Wa and I thought Plastikhaar was suppose to be better.

nifty...Ive never worn the PH but I have worn the Wawa and it does not stay silky feeling. But I cant say if it was from the washing or if its a possibility that the first time I set the curl with my curling iron I may have ruined the softness, right from the start??? When I steamed and reset with velcro rollers it seemed a little softer, but maybe if I had not used a curling iron to start with it might have been softer?? I wore the Wawa for 4 weeks, and it wasnt extremely bad, just not soft and silky like Im used to with HH hair.

I think no matter what there is gonna be a difference in the feel of synthetic.

I like Plastik Haar way better than Wa Wa.  For me, the Wa Wa got frizzy quickly, and I could not straighten out the frizz with blowing it out or steaming it.  On the other hand, if Plastik Haar gets frizzy, it's easy to blow out the frizz and get it silky again.

P.S.  The owner of plastikhhar is also the queen of customer service, she'll bend over backwards for you and is always friendly.  She's one of my favorite people to order from.

Thats worth way more then thermofiber to me!

Metalgirl I didnt experience any frizzing with wawa. But at 4 weeks the very ends were starting to get a little frazzled but a 1/4 inch trim would have fixed that. But realize I am one who heat styles on a daily basis. Of course I only curled the wawa once a week, but I still blowdried the excess water out daily and touched up curls here and there with curling iron. So do you think the PH is silkier feeling than Wawa?

Kalika....you are right Sarah is a complete charm to deal with. But I have to put in my praise to Carol of vixen wigs where I purchase Wawa...shes another AWESOME lady to do busines with.

i really liked the wawa it wore relly well for me it gets kinda 'hard' way - not soft but still remained tangle free for ages. depends if you dont mind it feeling rough. i thought it was easy to brush out

never worn ph to comment on it but i do have a hair piece in my room which feels lovely.

Yes, Sara is wonderful and when ordering from her you can expect fast, quality service. My wefts had to be made so I  knew they'd take 5 weeks. This was my first order from Carol (vixen Wigs) and her service was just as great. I wanted something at my door within 3 days and there it was.

I do like the Plastikhaar, maybe I need to steam it or something. I use rollers almost everyday which I'm sure dries it out faster. I was just so surprised at the silkiness of the Wa Wa right out of the package. Plus, the Wa Wa is straight and aside from bending the ends a little, I'm going for a straight look next time so maybe it will hold up longer...
