quote from BHMBoard-

""Hi morenita, hell no don't buy Sultry look at this.. http://www.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35692&PN=1 - http://www.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35692& amp; amp; amp; amp;PN=1

I hope someone tells that forist to take pics, send that sh*t back asap to sultry and dispute it with her credit card..  Sultry is simply washing-conditioning indianhairs.com and marking it up 100%!! 340ish with nitts.. hell no..  Those movie star pics aren't the real hair that is a big clue to run from that link!!  this is ONLY my opinion of course. ""

Ok..after two emails and NO REPLY I think that I will take this nice ladies advise and send back and dispute..but the question is, will I get money back or just have to eat it?

p.s what the hell is a forist?

anyhow..this is the 3d email that I have sent to her..not rude, but to the point??

"This is my 3 email to you and I have decided that the nits problem is too much to handle..I will not even be comfortable selling this hair to someone else..it is just gross!  I will take photos and send to you if need be, but I am hoping that I can just get a full refund on this order or I will have to contact my card company and dispute the charge.  And, I am aware of your return policy, but it is stated nowhere on your site that there might be lice nits that customers will have to be picking out of this hair.  Please understand that I know your products are good, and I see your favorable comments, but this particular batch of hair just must not be up to par and I paid ALOT of money for what it is and considering where else I could have gotten the same thing..bugs and all...it doesn't seem right to me."

What is it exactly you want to dispute with your purchase?

edit: Oh, ok, I see why now. You edited your post and now reveal the
nit problem.

Is this the same hair you just tried selling to us a few threads down?

amm- I would like my 3 fityish back in my bank account.  Think it might happen?  She states on the site only credits for returns, but she also does NOT state that you might have to pick nits out of the hair..I swear that I read that post about this lil problem a few days ago only after I placed order for/paid for this hair..so there was no way to stop it..but the more I think about it and ask around, it should not be like that..or if it is, should not have cost that much..Right?  You are an expert..I am sure your hair has its share of problems, but for half the cost somethings can be overlooked..ya know?

add: yes..the hair is great and I did disclose the "problem" so I am not trying to lie about it..and the bundle that I had undone was lovingly combed through hair by hair out in the sun with a newly purchased nit comb (how embarassing to have to buy that!!) by myself...that is the one I will be willing to say it is OK to buy..I mean I went through every hair on all 5 wefts..the other I didn't even undo cause I wasn't going to use it..

Sure, all hair has its differing opinions but I'd break someone's
cajones if I paid $350 for a ball of nits.

Did you pay too much? Well sure you did. But it's well within her right
to charge that much for it though, ok? I mean, she's not forcing
anyone to buy it.

Ask for an exchange. If you're not offered the similar length and
texture, you should get your money back, imo. If the hair was
misrepresented (which I feel ALL hair using celebrity photos without
their knowledge or consent is), request a refund. If you're not
satisfied with that, contact your credit card company.

Also, have you given this person a *reasonable* amount of time to
respond to your request? I mean, just today you were trying to sell
the hair here and you mentioned nothing of nits in that post. Now
you've sent 3 mails to this seller. Really, give her a chance to
respond to you, ok?

i have been contacting her since i posted the original "I got my sultryhair...blah, blah, and it has nits.." message some days ago...and since I was told it was kinda common, I just decided to do the best to get them out (which I did and was going to go ahead and use, but it is too short for what I want) so after sending her another email, I figured best if I could just sell it to someone who might could use it.  I just fear that if I don't get it back to her before 5 days (which is what she states on her site the time limit for any refund is) I will be S.O.L...and I am sure that the weekend will be considered part of the days...trust me, it ain't about the $$..it is more a running a good business thing..I just have never had this type of dealing before, so I dunno what is the best route..

p.s thanks for the advise..I will pm you with any results to let you know what goes down.

5 days is unreasonable for a mail refund, IMO.

Ok, so I am going to put my 2cents in.  I have been reading all that you have posted regarding your sultry hair order.  My take on the whole situation is:  once you heard some feedback regarding the nits problem and how you got screwed in the price you paid, and that you can get the same thing from indianhairs.com for less then half the price.  You started talking about selling one of the bundles even before you even recieved the order, something about how you really didn't NEED all that hair (then why did you buy so much?)  Then once you got your order, you found out it indeed did have nits, but then got some answers on how to get them out, and how they are just the shells and there is nothing live in the hair.  So you go and get yourself a comb and start picking them out, you even take it to your stylist to have it installed, but she tells you it is too short and you should return it.

I believe you would have installed this hair if your stylist didn't tell you it would be too short.  I feel that your dis-satisfaction is with the length of the hair, not the nit problem.  And unforutnatly I don't feel that you should be refunded your money because you bought the wrong length.

If the dis-satisfaction had been about the nits, you would have returned the hair immediatly, and demanded either a refund or replacement with nit free hair.

I'm not trying to piss you off, but as a person who has sold items (non-hair) and bought items off of ebay, that is the price you pay.  Nobody made you buy the hair, and it did state the length and the actuall price before you put you bid in.

I'm sorry that you got ripped off, I have had it happen to me and it really does suck!!!  I wish there were better answers for you.

well G- as a matter of fact, I did already go through the hair..(that I was going to use) and  I am only using 1 as it turns out, and ordered two cause on her site it states that to add volume alone--which is what I wanted--

"To acheive a natural look 8oz.(2 pks) or for a fuller look with lots of body 10oz (2.5 pks) recomended"

so I havd to order 2...since ordering a half wasn't a givin option..I assumed that I would save the rest and use it as needed.  Now, on to the nits..I only saw those post after I paid for my hair..and I posted about that too..even asked questions..so being that there was no info about that ANYWHERE on her site- all I could do was wait and see how bad it was--which it was not too bad (as I had also already stated in previous post)  but just the idea of it alone is what gets me..Anywho..I emailed her right when I got the hair and opened it to tell her it is pretty, and smelled nice, but had this "problem" and is that normal for hair of that cost?  Also to tell her that I would not need to even open the other bundle (due to how much hair was in the first one) but after looking at it, I was not going to sit and pick it put too so I could sell it to someone who might need it..but, in good faith I CANNOT just sell it (mind you, my hairdresser wants all of it for exactly what I paid..I don't want to sell it (the not picked through bundle) to her bc of the "problem")  So, I would hope that since it has the "problem" and will remain totally untouched as an over order, I can return it..not necessarly(sp?) for $$..gosh knows that I could really honestly care less about $$ ...Not to sound snooty, but it is only a few hundred dollars...my thing is, if it can be swapped out for what i really could use (assuming it is useable)I want that to happen..so,

Yes. the problem is with the nits..the lenght is not so much a deal, cause I could cut it off the wefts and have it tipped, and put in...No problemo..but as a seller, you must see the problem in not putting this in fine print "the possibility or the problem"..I would like to do is  return the un-picked through bundle for whatever- credit or refund- I can keep the picked out one, or sell it, doesn't matter..my problem lies in the fact that the other bundle she might not take back, someone here might not want to deal with that hassle (as I do not again) so I do not need/want it, but what am I to do with it? and I orderer that much per her instructions....

nita- thanks for finding that out...

Am i missing something, you asked us if we wanted to buy your hair, now u say you dont even want to sell it and your hairdressers even wants to buy it???

If someone here wanted to buy it, werent you selling it>?

why dont u sell it to her, espicially since she saw it, and buy yourself some nit free hair.

i am sure the company wont give u a refund

I want to sell the good one, the one I picked through..I will sell the other if someone wants it, as I have been honest from the beginning about what I saw in them..some of the girls here say it happens, and maybe they are ok with that and have to patience to pick it out..(or at least that is what I got from the post about this)  So, I don't want it to go to waste..as for my hairdresser, she only saw the cleaned one..and I will sell it to her- and I will show her the other one- if she wants it too, then thats her deal..I never showed her the other one cause I wasn't going to use it...it has been in the box since I opened the package.
