Ok, I've been suffering from a flaky scalp for a while and I was using that head and shoulders stuff, but it seemed to be making it worse! My mum suggested I try baby shampoo, so I've been using that and I've found it really works!

I no longer have a flaky scalp, my hair is really soft, even softer than my conditioner leaves it! And it's really mild so it doesn't strip away any oils. Anyway, the point of this post was, I was wondering if anyonelese had tried baby shampoo and found them really really good?

Hey LadyFrog,

The great thing about baby shampoo is that it's gentle. These gentle cleansers found in baby shampoo won't irritate scalp skin like some adult shampoos. Glad to hear you've found a good solution!

One thing you can also do is dilute the shampoo 50/50 with water. That's what I do for my two kids. It makes it much easier to distribute through your hair instead of ending up with a big blob in one place. I put my shampoo in an old bottle and squirt my head with it. Personally, I'm not crazy about the fragrance of most baby shampoos, and I'm using up my expensive Aveda shampoo, but Gerber makes a nice oatmeal shampoo that smells pretty good.
