I recently did an experiment on my hair. I shampooed my hair one week, and then the next week I conditioner washed my hair. Week 1 (shampoo) - I shampooed my hair every other day with a mild moisturizing shampoo (CON Shampoo blue label). My hair felt like it was full of build-up (ex: itchy scalp). My hair was soft but soon because dry. My curls weren't as defined as before. Week 2 (conditioner only wash)-I CW every other day with a no cone conditioner (Suave Tropical Coconut). My hair was softer, more curl definition, and there was no build up. I must tell you that I have noticed better results in Week 2. I love it and will never go back to shampooing my hair again. I just wanted to know if any of you "No Poo". If you do or you don't please explain why and the products that you use. Well- i shampoo two times a week and nopoo on the other 5 days. I am a new "big fan" of saloncare shampoos and conditioners- i purchase them at sally's beauty supply. I have wild cherry, honey and almond, sparkling apples and pears( these are the shampoos), conditioners that i have are honey and almond, wild cherry, remoisturizing balancer and balsam. These products are great. I also rotate a varitey of shampoos: Aussie Moist, Cream of nature(green bottle), Queen Helene garlic shampoo, Rivas silicon mix shampoo and HEB-plus(natural shampoo that i purchased at http://www.thechemistrystore.com - www.thechemistrystore.com ) . Other conditioners/deep conditioners that i use are: Lamaur's bone Marrow(deep conditioner), Cholesterol, Rivas silicon Mix hair treatment, Conditioner concetrate(purchased from http://www.camdengrey.com - www.camdengrey.com and http://www.thechemistrystore.com - www.thechemistrystore.com -i add liquid aloe vera to these.) I also use Capillo Milk and Honey cream rinse for conditioner washes as well as the conditioner concentrate and the saloncare conditioners. I No-Poo sometimes. I like to alternate. If I shampoo all the time my
hair feels dry but if I CW all the time my scalp gets itchy.

i do the same as layla. sometimes, i CWC too. depends on the state of my hair. and if i CO wash only, ill have to clarify with a clarifying shampoo so i dont think i can get away with CO washing exclusively ------------- |

I shampoo maybe once a month with con and no poo the rest of the time with DDTA. I make sure to do acv rinses often though. I'm lovin my hair since doing the no poo. ------------- |

I alternate as well. I shampoo at least 1x per week and CO either 1 or 2x/wk. ------------- ~~  LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!~~
