how important is it to du-rag or wave cap? i been jus brushin not du-raggin n im still gettin waves. any body else not raggin n still gettin waves? i dont think its important. ------------- THE BLACK WALLSTREET IZ COMIN' |

yea they took my durag in school last friday and i 4got to pic it up and i still aint got it but i been brushin and doin my same method without it but it still works ------------- work like a slave eat like a king |

Its very important if you grow your hair out for a long time, if you have nappy or hard to manage hair, and it makes your waves look neater.

Also if you use a lot of products in your hair it helps protect your sheet and pillow cases. Some of the stuff some people put in their hair is hard to get out. ------------- |

A du rag is important in most cases. Just like spinna said it helps your hair to look better in the long run. Most people with waves can go without a rag or wave cap for a little while, but your hair starts to grow and you will need that extra help from a du rag to keep it looking neat. ------------- Look to the skies and keep your eyes on the prize! when ur hair is short, the reason for having a du rag becomes less important. but for longer hair, it becomes all the more neccessary. if u were to continue to let ur hair grow out, the reasoning behind this would become apparent -------------

i wave cap and it is just like du-ragging 2 me but when ur hair is long it is best to du rag ------------- It aint me, its my jewlery thats pissed off |

with the short cut that i jes got, (in my sig) at first, i didnt even have to wear a du rag. although it did make it look better. but sumtimes id forget to put on my du rag cuz i went to sleep doin homework or sumthing, but when i woke up, it would look perfectly fine after a few soft brush strokes. -------------
