Do you all think that fusion chips can be use as pretips for shrikies? I think it could be faster than liquid gold. Here is a link for fusion chips http://www.haircandy.net/fusionchip.htm - http://www.haircandy.net/fusionchip.htm . Also check out the demo. I know tha that fuson would remelt during shrinkie installation. I was hoping that there is a way aound that.

I found some Kertatin material. called rebond. on this site.

http://www.internationalwig.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=FW_ReBond&Category_Code=justarrived - http://www.internationalwig.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Scree n=PROD&Product_Code=FW_ReBond&Category_Code=justarri ved

Has any one used this product? I seems to be faster than liquid gold and maybe it won't stick to my shrinkies.

You can use the fusion chips to pre-tip with - or any fusion glue, for that matter. If you don't want an excess of glue in the bond when you heat the shrinkie, though, you kind of have to squeegee out as much glue as possible when you're forming the bond. I make a tip, and then drag the tip though the smallest groove on my heat wand. A bit more glue splooshes out this way, and the bonds are tiny. On my mannequin head they don't seem to leave too much residue this way, but I'd experiment yourself first if you're worried. I'm hoping the bit of glue that remelts will prevent any slippage on my uber fine hair.

Amanda uses hair candy chips to pre tip and put in shrinks. She says Amm's shrinky oil takes it out after heating just fine, just diferent shape.
