To anyone who uses the silky straight Bohyme - how does it dry after it's been washed/gets wet?  Does it go wavy/frizzy/poofy, or just nice and silky straight?

Thankyou :)

here's probably a hijack - if the straight goes slightly wavy after washing...how does the bohyme french refined do after washing? i'm at a conference right now and a woman sitting in front of me has the most beautiful wavy hair in golden tones...... also, would the french refined look weird if your own hair is fairly straight? my hair's pretty short, maybe ear level.

I never had a wave in my straight bohyme. I have worn the FR and the curl is very diferent after wash than what it looks like in the bag new. It was natural looking but if there was any humidity don't bother blowing it out it will curl right back up. I just blended by curling the top on mine. I do have a bit of curl in mine though.

The bohyme is wavy when wet but once you blow dry it straight it doesn't then go wavy.  You would have to get it soaking wet again then to get the wave back.  If  you leave it to dry naturally it leaves a wave.

The french refined is a lot more curly after washing than when it comes in the pack.  I wash before install otherwise you can put too much hair in.

If you look at the second picture on my site, her hair was perfectly straight and the curly looked great x

Yes It has a slight wave to it.
I also find that the body wave has the same wave as the SS after wash.
To get a body wave look use there virgin Body wave instead.

Also with the french refined wash it before you put it in.
I have had time that the curl falls out.

Been using the bohyme for almost 8 years and love it.

But there are a few tricks to working with it.

Email me if you ever have any questions or post.

Bohyme is the best. I have been experimenting with several other brands (RK, Indian) and have been the most pleased with Bohyme. Although the other brands were great in the beginning, they don't last as long due to the frizz at the ends. I just bought Bohyme #4 from HisandHers (wavy) and Bohyme #4 from Ebonyline (wavy) to compare. Hisandhers was 1/2 the price as Ebonyline and more fuller. Ebonyline had a nice reddish tone to it but the ends were frayed. Hisandhers ends were not split at all. I'm sending back my Ebonyline. I've never worn the wavy before but it sure looks healthy and shiny with a soft wave.

hey elvira - i didn't know that hisnhes carries bohyme? is that their cuticle hair?

hairsisters is having a bohyme sale right now - works out to slightly less than ebonyline for certain textures and colors it looks like. i have ordered one bag of french refined bohyme from ebonyline and it was fine/good quality (color 14/22). the painful thing about dealing with ebonyline is they didn't give me a customer rep phone # and did all dealings via email, which was a hassle.

On the Bohyme subject - does anyone know a place that makes custom
blended wefts (hand or machine)?
