Okay I am really confused right now. It's been about 1 month since I removed my last install, it was 6 rows of extensions 2 rows of fusion on top and 4 rows of shrinkies. It was a great install 2 months of wear and no slippage or shedding, the hair wasn't that great (rk pretipped hair, there just is not enough hair in those pre tipps) but I could deal with that. Anyway I had no damage or breakage. So since I removed those extensions I have bleached my hair and it's in great shape but it's still bleached hair and I dont want to damage or thin it. I have finally got some length (just had 2 inches cut off) and it's growing fast. So anyway I thought that I had found my answer in Dinkie links, boy was I wrong I installed aboout 200 strands on my doll then about 50 on my friend so anyway today I removed them from her head and they broke off all the hair they were attached to.So anyway what do you guys think I should do? Are shrinkies a damage free extension for bleached hair? I hope that the hair I ordered from giovanni and son will end my search for great hair.

So here are my real questions are shrinkies safe? can I do fusion on my top row and not expect breakage and damage and will there ever be a cure for  da-sha-vu (i really cant spell so ignore me if i spelled it wrong)

just kidding with that last question (hey I *think* i'm funny) and sorry for the novel.

I have been installing Shrink Links on clients for 5 years, and have never seen 1 case of breakage.

On the other hand, I have seen the metal links just completely ruin many heads of hair...

Has anyone installed the Giovanni Italian hair in the dark colors? Did it hold up well?

I had the blond Giovanni italian Hair installed and it was a  nice texture and soft on install but felt dried out after a few washes and shed a lot. Then I dyed my hair and added hair dreams bonds . I think its hard to find good blond hair but if the dark hair held up I would love to buy some for future installs because it was so thick and soft. I asked my extensionist about the hair and she said they were not online so I was suprised when I found this thread.

here is the pic right after I got the italian hair extensions before blending cut.
