I have been dying to do my hair in a knotted updo for ages.  How do I get my hair to look like this: http://www.chariho.k12.ri.us/chs/studentwork/s_rousseau/pictures/updo%201.jpg - http://www.chariho.k12.ri.us/chs/studentwork/s_rousseau/pict ures/updo%201.jpg  ?

It looks like rope twists, but with with only one strand. You twist a section of hair in one direction, all the way but excluding the long tail.

Then fold it double (upon itself).

The section will automatically coil around itself.

Tie it off with a small hair tie.

It takes a few dozen repetitions to complete this hairdo.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I can't wait to do my hair like that.
