Personally? I think it would look great. but I'm kinda biased in favor of that look in general, so you'll definitely want to wait for more replies

If you're not sure try a really dark brown at first. They practicly look almost black. They give better effects and your hair would look thick and shiny
With just black it's easy to get a flat look (unless you have black hair naturally) But on the other hand, i also had a black hair period and i did like it at first, then the outgrowth came

But the question was, would i look good in black haircolor?
Yes, I think you would

Before you do, peruse the hair color forum for any tips.  I'd recommend dark brown first, because black can be damaging to your hair, and sometimes be impossible to remove shoud a person not like it.  And if you do it yourself - run a test strand.

A great way to test out black is to try the L;Oreal color pulse.  That is temporary and will rinse out after a few washes.  You'll have no damage, and get to experiment.  You can buy it at any drugstore.

If you like the black, I say go for it.  You are young, and can get away with black hair.  As opposed to older women (over 35) who would look harsh with black hair, and it makes them look older.

I use this chinese permanent black hair dye and it Doesn't damage my hair at all! It's the best hair dye for your hair I believe. It has no ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, or metals. It's only 5 dollars as well! I got it here:

Btw I recommend buying a 2nd just in case you need to redye in time for the next shipment. :)

I tried that black, but it didn't show up black on me :-( .  It only made my hair a slightly darker brown.  Usually my hair just sucks up dyes, and if anything comes out a little darker than intended, but it didn't with that.  Not sure why.

Anyway, the person who asked the Q. . .  I think you could look good in black. . . or a very dark ruby or burgundy red. . . or black with red streaks. . .  Whatever you pick, I'm sure it'll be really cute ^_^ .
