i died my hair brown but it came out black so i tried washing it out now its starting to kinda fade but not even close to my natural hair.so i got a red dye will this make it darker or lighter?this too is a permanent one so will it make it lighter? |

nope, its gonna make it like dark burgendy.. the only way to go back to your brown.. is gonna be to lighten it using bleach. if you use that red dye and then you see that it didnt work... and then you try to bleach.. =x its gonna be bright orange! careful. dont use the red dye.

| Color over color always goes darker....keep washing it get a clarifying shampoo it will help alot. You can even mix baking soda with your shampoo it will help. I agree with ammonia even if you dont use the red and you try to bleach it it will most likley turn orange |
