Got it today, chips and remover. The chips do seem like a different type of glue than other sticks. The chips are sooo small I wasn't sure there was enough but it melts so thin ( I am haveing a problem describing)The remover is non toxic and is sent with Material data safty sheet.I have never used a remover that is like this one. They sent an aplication guide which is eaven laminated. I spoke to them on the phone and they are very helpfull which is good to know since so many companys just sell and can't help!. I will use these on a client who want fusion on friday and again on a friend Sunday, The company recomends cleang ex-hair and diping the roots of it in rubing alchoal frist . They allso say to melt chip on heat tool then bond it to extension hair then on to clients hair. I tryed it that way and tryed doing it right to the hair with out pre tipping. Not sure which way I will do. No sheding once in though. I will update more later.

Really want to hear the review on these things, especially after a fellow researcher sent me this. She's from New Zealand and is here for some extension classes.
Anyway, here's her letter to me yesterday after I asked about these things (I have permission from her to post this):
Hey girl
Ok the latest on Hair Compounds, Elizabeth is the ladies name from there, just be careful Ive done my reserch on them. I put xxxxx onto them be careful know your stuff. xxxxx told me her clients bonds were coming out very quickly and I rang Elizabeth and the lady ended up telling me that the poly is made in another Plant then sent to them and they remold to capsules for hair extensions. I did my homework and found out that its a plastic Plant, so I dont know yet. (yet they advertise its organic)??!!!
I wanted to use them myself, but I have to wait and see what comes back from xxxxx's clients about it first.
I also have a lady that is an adhesive expert that I may hire to check out the poly first as she told me its plastic because if it handles high heat as it advertises and can mold easily (sticky as xxxxx told me) to form then its no good for use on human hair, thats the expert adhesive advicers words. I really want to be 100% sure of it first so Im waiting for xxxxx to get back to me on that.
I found no other sites at all selling it, that got me thinking its best to wait and see definate results first. The lady Elizabeth ended up saying they tested the poly product for 11 months with the likes of Great lengths product, thats when I didnt believe her, Great Lengths would never allow their product to be tested to be proved the lesser great of the two.And if they didnt know that there own product was being tested by Hair Compounds in the first place then Hair Compounds is running a risky advertising pitch to customer inquirers like myself.
As always, your mileage may vary. I really like the look of them, though, and hope they work out.

Hi Amm,
only the remover is all natural. The tips are polly(plastic). But as we know glue is glue eaven those that say keritin. All I do know right now from playing with it and I put a couple in my hair. Is that it's thiner when melting and the chips are small. It has been a coulple of years since I have used fusion and to day is the day I do a client so it may be a long day! Pm me and I will send you some of the chips if you want. I just am looking for an alternative to the EM machine. Hoping it is a strong bond with easyer removal. With any fusion you must be carefull to get the bond sealed tight or it will fail quick. Of course I would rather use Lush and shrinks. I am just tired of pre tipping hair and can't find good pre tipped to use with the shrinks. And some clients need more curl and others want stick straight. Hoping in the future you may have it all. So I'm waiting on you then it's back to shrinky's!!!!!!!

I'm finally gonna have a couple days off this weekend and I can't wait to install a few of these things. Moreover, I can't wait to see how the removal is. :)

When you do put some in, amm, be sure to leave them in for at least a week and at least three washes and comb-outs to get a good idea how the stuff cures and if it starts to degrade from contact with water and hair oil and stray bits of conditioner.

So far so good, but it has not been long yet. I put them in my manakin and took them out like I would a shrink. Heated up took out hair and then remover. I liked this better because then only a small amout of adhesive was left. You would have to get all the hair out frist then remover as you would not want the remover used with heating tool ( Amm can explain the why not better than myself) The remover did disolve it fast. But on a fresh bond with the hair in it was not so fast. These are small chips so you can't use big hunks of hair for extensions. The beads and melting pot to dip would be better for that or use two chips. I myself don't like to use really thick pieces so it works for me. I will try and post photo of bonds later! I'm interested in there products that are made for extensions too. Amm that would be a great line for your site if they wholesale.

Have you put them on a real person's head yet? I'm interested to see how this material wears over time, being exposed to scalp oil, hair washing, etc.
I have a whole head of teeny tiny strands put in with a fusion adhesive (of course not 'glue'...) by Chenice (the hair products maker). The stylist showed me how the glue dries rock hard in her glue pot - it's not soft or sticky. For two days after she put them in, I had to dust the bonds with talc powder to help them dry and cure hard.
Here it is a week and three washings and 2 strands have come out- they were maybe too tiny. None of my own hair came out with them (good). But when I'm running my fingers through the bonds to separate them out, some feel a bit sticky...so sure it dries hard in the glue pot, but a week on my head is a different story.
That's why I am interested to see if this poly plastic stuff can take actual head wear. Anything can make a nice bond if put in correctly - it's how it stands up to oil and water that will set something apart from every other fusion keratin 'no glue' adhesive out there.

Ok I tryed the remover ( hair compound ) on a friend who had shrinky's in just to see how it worked. Yuck!!! The smell was sickning and it removed my polish!! It did disolve it fast but I don't see how it could be that diferent from accetone. I will see if shrinky oil removes them (fusion bond) because I don't want to use this ever again!

bump yo.
Sorry to be impatient, but my hair has decided to not allow ANYTHING to remain in it for over a week: not tracks, pinchbraids, fusion, nothing. It has a defense mechanism for every method tried to date.
How are those poly drops holding?

I wrote and asked for a sample, like maybe 4 or so, like Kristin sent to people who were interested in the fusion chips. They said no. Not trying to be cheap, but jeez, what kind of customer service is that?

What does giving away free stuff have to do with customer service?

Just generally serving the customer. I mean, it's not like I was asking for anything unrealistic or even out of the ordinary. Heck, even restaurants will let you sample their "house" salad dressing before you commit to a large portion of it!!!!! Maybe 4 small pieces, of which I'm sure they have thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands depending on how big of a dealer they are. It just seems like if they are interested in any kind of marketing, making new customers, and presenting themselves as a consumer friendly company who believes in their product, they would be willing to send a measly 4 piece sample. It's not like we're talking big bucks here, or even $1. Maybe it's just me (having previously worked in marketing and customer service), but their general automated cold response and impersonal demeanor speaks tons!

Last night I took down my friends daughter who was a Guinea pig for this. I used the remover they sell. YUK!!!!! The smell was worse than accetone and the fumes made my eyes water and her head itched and said though it wasn't burning it felt bad. And it took a while to work not fast at all. I had not used it on more than a few strands untill last night. I wont be using it again!

Re fitted second client today with shrinkys!! That bond was just coming undone and was so soft too. So it wasn't the client because both had same out com." Consumers report" I like that! It's shrinks and lush hair for me now. I think with the extra adhesive on the hair they should hold up much better for those clients that do go three months.

Wow, they wouldn't even send me a sample of their chips, and they're sending you samples of their pre-tipped hair? At this point, I don't care if their products actually were any good. I still wouldn't buy from them!
