Everytime I login here and read some of these topics its always about what pomade you should use to get waves, but in reality pomade is only to intensify the look of your waves, it doesnt help as much in creating waves like pink lotion or lets jam does.Pink lotion helps create waves best or atleast that what worked for me. You dont really need shampoo your hair every other day as long as you brush your hair while in the shower.I usually shampoo once every week. So here we go with the instructions.

Materials:

1. 2 Brushes;1 medium,1soft

2. Couple du-rags (no stocking caps)

3. Pink lotion & lets jam

4. Time and Facial cleanser

Morning & Nightly routine:

1. While in the shower place head under a flow of water and brush each section for a minute.(Front Back Sides)

2. Once out of shower pat head with towel to get rid of extra water but leave head damp.

3. Put a good amount of Pink Lotion in your hair, and place a hot towel on your head for about a minute to 2 minutes then brush each section of your head for almost 5 minutes(Front Back Sides)

4. Then wet hair and du-rag it up for 30 minutes

5. After that put the lets jam in your head and put the durag on for the rest of the night or until your bout to leave out the house.

** Also when you have free time when out of the house you should brush your head.

** let me know how it works so I can patin it LOL.

products don't create waves, your brush does, good thing you said
"atleast that what worked for me"
as for product, not everyone is gonna see the same results when using the same product. for an example: you like pink lotion, i hate pink lotion and all greasy oil products.

the reason everytime you log in you see topics like what pomade to use is this: alot of people that come to this forum for the first time know little to nothing about waves, they are here so the can ask questions, learn, and then later on if they are still here they can help others.

your method sounds okay, i don't like the 20minutes of brushing part, it doesn't seem like enough(i mean i do more than that to get ready in the morning), but thats your method and as long as your seeing good results and progress then its all good.

i hope you got a camera cause the people here love pics .
