My natural hair is med brown with some highlights, and the extensions are the same, some brown, some blonde. I want to go red. I've did it before, but never with extensions...will the color turn out weird, will it be damaging to my extensions?? If you can put a red semi color on to give the brown as much red tone as you can that is fine. You wont change the level but the hue so insrtead of 5 brown you can make it 5 red brown. Unless the hair your wearing is virgin stay with the semi colors.
