just a FYI: Alot of the other guys/gals around here knows alot about waves. Next time i think it wud b better if you direct the question to the forum instead 1 person. Neways... im not really sure on whats better between a soft or hard brush... use wut u want and see how it turns out if its soft... but i huv no soft hair so i wudnt know.
