Hi -- I've been lurking on this board forever doing research on extensions (thank you all SO much; thanks to you I know more about extensions than some of the iffy people that I've spoken to here in my town about extensions!). ANYWAYS, I've decided to have my mother, who used to style hair, and sister assist me in a DIY install of my extensions b/c no one here in town is as knowledgeable or reliable as I'd like them to be.

After reading millions of posts on here, I'm confident that Shrinkies would be the best method for my hair type and the look I want to achieve. I plan on buying my supplies from Amm (hers looks to be of the absolute best quality!) ... but the problem is finding hair! I'm soo frustrated.

I'm looking for about 8 oz. (to be safe) of Bohyme or Remy hair, preferable silky-straight or in its natural state as far as texture goes -- a French Refined or curly texture wouldn't mesh with my natural one. I have light blonde/light golden blonde hair and would like to purchase a 16 or 18 inch long order of pre-tipped hair for the Shrinkies.

Can anyone help me?! I don't know which sites are reliable and have good products ... they all sound fantastic, but I know that can't be the case. If any of you could tell me what supplier you use or which ones are good, I would be sooo grateful! Thank you in advance ladies !

ebonyline.com have the best price on Bohyme. They're very reputable and ship fast, but don't always have the color you need in stock. I'd suggest calling first to check.

Then there's haircandy.net's new store (I forget the name)- they have lots of colors of Bohyme. It's a few bucks more, but I think they actually stock all the colors they list for sale, so you know they have what you need.

Hi Lady, the Lush Hair is due any day now so I'll be having very high quality Remy pre-tipped to go along with those very high quality shrinkies. The Lush is silky straight which turns to a natural loose texture. It's delicious hair. Drop me a note and I can hook you up. :)

Shoot, Amm! I wish I had read your response a little earlier. I just ordered some machine-made wefts from hairaddition.com ... it's Bohyme, so the quality is ok ... but I would have much preferred to buy from you! On my next install, I'll definitely be buying your lush*hair.

Oh! and I bought the wefts instead of pre-tipped b.c. I read your tutorial on how to pre-tip yourself by cutting from a weft, so I decided to do that. I also purchased your starter kit from shrinkies.net  I can't wait to get started!

Thanks for the help ladies I appreciate it times a million.
