i've just received my first copy of "hype hair" magazine..with this copy (that came in the mail) was another magazine totally dedicated to Brandy who's the spokesmodel for a brand of hair called pro 10 natural yaki performance.

i have to call up this 1800 # 1866 323 9990.

i usually buy my hair whenever i wear extensions at Extensions Plus.  The problem with them is the customer service..They aren't very professional, plus, they have this paranoia about clients being beauticians..

even if the clients are beauticians - one would think they would be more helpful in order to sell their product line to the public?

I will say their hair is the best i've ever bought, a bit pricey for most people, but it lasts forever, and it's soft wash after wash..

I deal specifically with a woman named Cheyne, there..and that has made my business transactions with them a lot easier..she's very professional and informative.

Ok, so maybe I am just not getting it,    what is your point?  What do the magazine and EP have to do with each other.  Am I missing something here?

no, you're not missing anything, hon..here's the deal i'd like to have options)..i am very curious about this sensationnel..yet would hate to give up the quality of the extensions that i wear every once in a while..

If sensationnel's extensions are as high-quality as extensions plus...i'd go there in a heart beat if they are as "professional" as they advertise.

Cheyne isn't in the store everyday, and there are times i have to call back a day or two later to complete our transactions...this can be an inconvenience, sometimes, but worth the wait...

Whereas, why not have both quality and professionalism at one stop?  this is what i'm hoping for with sensationnels....I'll call on Monday, and see if i get just that..

just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them yet..

They hung up on me about four months ago. The girl was extremely rude. They should get with the program and let customers order online!

I had very good customer service when I was in the store. But then
again, I was face to face.

Having to call for the same EP hair from EP is going to be a thing of
the past pretty quick.

I see Sensationnel is also part of the topic thread. Just "Say No" to
Sensationnel. Particularly their Premium Too line. yeech.

wow, thanks for all of your input!  i've had to finally start working with Cheyne..There was a girl named Tina who also worked for them, but she's a Stay At home mom, now, i guess..

When she left, a lot of knowledge went with her..One girl couldn't explain to me what "Yaky" meant..I had to go through 2 or 3 of them before i had gotten an answer..it was a nightmare..

Then one day, i had asked for samples for their zig zag wefts and that's when i had gotten the "run-a-round"...they thought i was a beautician..and said they would call me back..and never did..

Finally, i called them up and had to get so rude...to the point, they put Cheyne on the line...Cheyne remembered me from working with Tina..thank gawd..and was  very apologetic from her observation...from then on, she suggested that i only work with her..it's been a very good working relationship...

Also, I thought by just looking at the Sensationnel advertisements that they were a new company...boy was i fooled!  I hope Brandy understands what she is representing..Best wishes for the new "Yaky performance" pro 10 line...

I might give it a try...and wear both types of hair on my next style..see which works better...it's advertised as being "better" than human hair..and lasts longer...

The hair from extensions plus, seems to last forever if you take very good care of it.

Actually that pro 10 by sensationnel isnt that new...and there was a thread here some time ago. It looks to me that its another thermal fiber. Might be a decent synthetic option. Its the first thermal Ive seen with that many texture options. If its not too expensive it might be worth checking out

well, i've put in an email to them..contacting them on the phone is not a good option..Apparently, the representatives are there for "registration" purposes only for their VIP line..

if you register, you'll receive hair samples, the monthly subscription to "Spell" magazine that advertises their hair line, discounts on your purchases, and coupons...

i'm afraid of anything that's a fiber..one day, I used this hair called kanekalon..when i first had it in, there was not a problem, but when i washed it, the affect happened slowly..i was in school (college) at the time.. and as i was driving home, my scalp started itching, and my eyes were watering..i guess the shampoo and the fiber materials didn't match..

i forgot there was a man working in our house at the time.. and ran through the front door, started stripping off my clothes while barrelling toward the shower yelling "oh my gawd, oh my gawd!"..

i saw him out of the corner of my eye but by that time the blouse was off and i was still running and yelling...he ran in back of me thinking i might have been on fire or something.. by the time he made it to the door i turned all the way around, with no bra on,  and upon seeing him standing there in front of the bathroom door with this shocked look on his face, i let out a holler again and slammed the door, locked it, and jumped in the shower....

i don't know who was traumatized the most..me, or him.

I've tried the Pro 10 and like it.  I had micros of the Afro Crimp Bulk hair and it was really easy to manage.  Personally, I don't like the way it looks on Brandy but the hair itself is good.  My sisters and I always use Sensationnel..

Don't be daft - Sensationnel make so many products and have so
many different lines that it is ridiculous to generalise like that!
Besides we aren't even talking about human hair here - you can't
fault their synthetics range.

As far as the Brandy hair goes - it's gorgeous. I've only been able to
get hold of a few packs of it so far as it's not readily available in the
UK - even the main distributor for Sensationnel products doesn't
carry it. It is thermofibre as previously mentioned and isn't made
from Kanekalon so if you had an allergy to that you might be okay
with this.

I agree that sensationnel's human hair line is 'crappo' but the pro 10 thermofiber is surely worth the try. Ive tried but cannot find anyone who stocks it and those who do are SOLD OUT consistantly!

hairsisters.com has some also, I have some on order and they say I will have it in 3-4 days (watch this space)

I am in the UK

Good afternoon  Amanda!

There is a good review of this on BHM under Brandy hair pics.  For afro hair, the relaxed yaki look is the best I have seen in any hair.  And the bonus is "No Tangles"
