I have heard of hair dreams, but have not used it myself.  It's just another fusion method.

Actually I found out one of the differences from GL. GL uses glue w/their bonds and hair dreams does not. The person I am gonna go with charges a pretty decent price $1,000. The other person who uses great lenghts wants to charge 2,000.

so what is the attachment method of hair dreams? If its a fusion method...glue is glue..dont let them *trick* you into believing its a protein bond...or organic bond...they all mean the same thing...glue...is still glue by any name!

That is the word she used " Protein Bond " -lol

I guess it's a company from Europe and the creator use to work w/great lenghts. This is what the hair dresser said.

Thanks for the info. I have actually seen this ladies work that uses hair dreams and she does great work. One of my co-workers refered me to her. One day I complimented her on her beautiful long hair and then she tells me it's extensions. I did not believe her-lol.

The hairdresser was honest and said that having extensions requires upkeep and that I would need to go in and see her every  6 weeks to maintain them. She said if I did not keep up w/my visits then I could risk them getting all tangled. She showed me on her own head that has extensions what I would need to do everynight. I have to seperate the bonds and to make sure to brush my hair 2 times a day. Oh and to also sleep w/a loose ponytail. She was also honest and said that the extensions can last from 3 to 4 months vs some of the other hair extension people telling me that they can last for up to a year.

I was originally gonna do the hairlocs because it was only gonna be like $700 but then I read the stories on here about them. The hairlocs lady also told me that they could last me for up to a year-but then I hear that this is not true.

My co-worker has used this extension method for almost a year and loves them. She also takes great care of her hair. So I think I am gonna go for it.

I am new to this and realize it is an investment -so this is why I have looked at several websites and gone on several consultations-and  done some research. I just want long, lucious locks

lefthander..it sounds like youve done your homework! I agree with everything she said other than the 'protein bond' (its still glue..just like GL or any other fusion method.)  And I honestly believe that 3 months is the MAXIMUM that anyone should leave extensions in. I can never make it that long with any method.

Good luck and post some pictures for us after you get yours installed!

Sherrie-what method do you use?

Are you a hairdresser? Can I ask how much you paid for your extensions? From the picture -your hair looks awsome!

I will post a picture once I get them done.
