Hello

Do anyone know how to remove permenant black from hair without using harsh chemicals, like peroxide or bleach?

Colorfix.It could take a couple of times.Plus, i dont reccomend if you used any demi permanents before the black.Its only meant for permanent.Its about as gentle as you can get for what you are attempting.It will leave you with the uderlying pigments,which for you will be an orangey red.Then you'll have to redye with the color of your choice.

Also, if the permanent black color was Feria, it won't be removed by colorfix...

Hi DarkAndLovely,
 About three years ago, I died my hair sort of a..black cherry color. You know, it was black...but it had the purple-ish reddish coloring in it as well. My hair is originally strawberry blonde (though it has darkened over the years). So, I had to have the black bleached out - professionally. It went bright orange, and my roots (virgin hair) were a lovely shade of WHITE!
It was amusing...but one helluva process. I'd love to do my hair dark again, but I fear the damage of having to repeat the stripping process.
 So, just thought I'd share my little story with you. Hope it all turns out well!!
