Hi there, I'm currently growing out my chemically straightened hair back to curls, and I'm getting super frustrated with the half and half thing I have going on now. Desperately tempted to cut all the rest of the straight off, which would leave me with about 4 inches (maybe?) of curly hair. Has anyone gone with a short curly cut, and how'd you like it?? |

Within the last few months I cut my long curly ringlet hair to chin length. I personally didn't like it. I looked like Shirley Temple and Annie. But my hair is not red. It is now almost to my shoulder in the back because I am growing it long again.This is a picture of me now with my hair almost to my shoulder.Posted By: yoshikisquall

| I did, used to have BSL hair and then cut it so that it was only an inch or so long. I like it now (didnt think I would..) but I still want my long hair back. But as of right now it looks cute and curles nicely since there's no weight or damaged hair :) I'm just dreading that paperbag faze... XD |

| Suggestion: You may fair better by going to a woman barber and having her give you a real tight perm. Have her clipper-taper it on the sides and back. Make sure that she perms it extremely tight on the top. |

I cut mine short a couple of years ago. I had it layered and learned to style it with a diffuser. I absolutely love it.  ------------- DANGER! I drive like you do. |
