hey guys, i'm just wondering if anyone has tried any products from the Thermasilk line. supposedly, heat activates all the products for "amazing results for dry hair". right now, i'm really feeling the ntm like as well as capillo but i'm always up for trying new things (aka, i'm becoming a pj  ) i'd like to get more details about the product before i slap down some money. if you've used this line, let me know how you liked it. thanks!

I've used this line and loved it for years.  I haven't used it for a while because I've been trying other things (using Dove right now).  The shampoo is really good, nice and creamy.  I like the conditioner as well.

Twinklet...I think your stylist is trying to take your money. If those brands work for your hair then use them, u know your hair better than anyone. I use those brands and my hair is still on my head and thriving.

so pokahantas, how would you compare thermasilk to the dove line? i'm actually interested in both lines. right now i'm using ntm, i don't know if you have any experience with that line. can you offer up some comparisions? based on your review, i may try the shampoo when i finally use up this cheap stuff -- it is not getting the job done right at all. thanks!!

cmesweet thats what i thought but she swears that the shampoos for "white" people contain a lot of alcohol and are drying on black hair...i thought that  alcohol was drying on ANYONES hair and that no one wanted that stuff on thier hair......btw what do you think of infusium 23 ive thought about buying it but im wondering does it work at moisturizung my dry type 4b  hair

My preferances in shampoo's and conditioners changes so much but actually I used Thermasilk off and on for several years and I had no problems with it.  The only reason I stopped using it is because I just got tired of it after so long.  I think I like Dove better though.  It smells sooo good and the shampoo is not drying at all and the conditioner is very moisturizing.  My hair always comes out cottony soft.  Dove is one of my staples now.  Their blow dry cream is really good also.

I've also had good results from Fructis Long and Strong shampoo and con.  The shampoo is very rich and creamy, it almost looks like a conditioner.

I have not tried NTM but I've heard it is a great product.  I've picked it up and looked at it like 10 times.  I think one day I will get around to trying it.  HTH

I agree with cmesweet.....your stylist is probably trying to make a sale.  I'm curious though....what kind of products does she sell?
