thanksgiving is a week away and instead of moaning about my hair, i'm gonna try to see the positive and be thankful instead. so many of us complain about our hair and we sometimes forget those who don't have hair due to illness or can't afford to go out and buy products or get their hair done because they really have no money.

so this is a thread for you to express the good things about your hair and haircare in general. it's nice to see the positives, it lets us appreciate what we have a little more.

i'm thankful for:

*getting the courage to start doing my hair on my own. now my money goes to somebody who values it: me

*the fact that my edges are growing in and the overall growth i'm seeing. these past few months have been great

*learning that i can -- and should -- was my hair more than once or twice a month. i must have been tripping before i came onto this site.

*finally wearing my hair out natural. i was worried that people would talk about the puff...and they did, but nothing but good things. now i feel comfortable rocking my hair out and wash it about 4x a week.

*lacio lacio and ntm hair mask. that's some good stuff right there.

*all of YOU!!! i've learned so much and look forward to learning even more. THANK YOU!!!

I'm thankful for all of you who have helped me get a new start with my hair (i'm transitioning).  I'm also thankful that it's actually working and that I'm seeing healthy hair breakforth and growth taking place. It's a wonderful thing!
