Hey, i was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend a good, affordable, (uni student) clarifying shampoo, i have been using pantene treatments for the past few months and when i went to dye my hair again the other day with a permanent dye, it slip right off.

Pantene is AWFUL for your hair! Any shampoo with Ammonium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfate or both is just typically a very harsh shampoo to use on hair. Stuff like Pantene, Thermasilk and others out there are just too harsh for everyday use.

Look for shampoos that contain Sodium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfate and if you color your hair or perm your hair get shampoo for color treated hair or permed hair. It's very important that you use the products that are for your hair type.

Oh really, so i could be damaging my hair when im using a pantene treatment. Thats abit ironic. lol
