What temp should my wand be to put these in?  I put them in on high heat and they melt and completely fall apart, I used lower heat and so far I have lost 12 in two days and I am now afraid to wash my hair until I can put other shrinks in my hair first.  What worked for you Kristen?

Sorry I totall missed this post. The wands I use don't have a temperature control they are fixed at just the perfect temperature for shrinkies and fusion. I believe the temperature is about 275 Fahrenheit. I just hold the wand crimped down on the shrinkie for about 5 seconds or until tightly sealed over the bond. I've had about 3.5oz of my current install done with these shrinkies and I've only lost 2 so far. They've been in for 4 weeks and 2 days so far and going strong. I've never had one melt or even start to melt, it sounds like your temperature is up way too high. Loosing 12 in 2 days also means something isn't right. Try seeing if you can play witht the temperature control until you get it just right.

Let me know if you need any more help,

kristin
