I don't take any, but do eat balanced meals.  I tried Ultra Hair vitamins for one month and didn't see any difference so didn't buy any more.

Jennifer doesn't take any vitamins for hair growth.  She does take a daily vitamin if I get it out and remind her of it ;-).

I used to take a generic Centrum but now I always forget. So at this point, just wholesome diet just like Susan.

Hmmm....a multivitamin, a chromium/biotin capsule, and 7 spirulina capsules.  I should add that I'm not taking these for hair in particular, but I believe that alot of the ingredients are beneficial for hair growth anyway.   I also drink LOTS of water and eat plenty of fruit and veg. And exercise....that's important too   Basically, anything your mother/grandmother always told you is good

I have been taking Biotin for more then a month now and I have definitely noticed hair growth. My hair grows rather slow so it’s nice to see that it’s finally coming along. I take 5000 mcg daily. Besides that I just try to add more protein in my diet.

hey i have a question about vitamins....the more mcg the bigger the punch?? like 5000mcg would be better than taking 1000mcg??

It depends on the vitamin/mineral/etc. Certain things are water-soluble such as Vitamin C, and those ones will leave your body if you overdose.

Other vitamins like A, D, K, and maybe some minerals (not sure), are not okay for overdose because it could be toxic at high levels (these collect in your tissues).

As long as you follow the Recommended Daily Value (%) it should be okay. There aren't any documented cases of "Biotin overdose" but I'm sure (like with any vitamin) that at some high amount, any increase in dosage will be pointless.

I take Natures Plus Ultra Hair Plus (has MSM in it), Complete Amino Acids, Natural Vitamin E, and 15mcg Biotin Daily.  I don't take this necessarily for hair growth but they are natural and help to fill in what I don't eat during the day.  I've been switching the regime around and been on this one for 2 months and I've seen a difference in my nails and skin for sure so I think I hit on one that works for me.  My hair has always grown slow so I'm not praying for the "miracle" speed growth.  Just healthy growth.
