im trying to dye my hair a brownish blonde from a redish purple ive tried dyeing it twice in the past two days and it looks exactly the same . can someone help me?  ------------- tasha abate |

| My friend who has naturally reddish brown hair picks the dye with "ash" in it. I'm assuming when she says that she means it's an ashy-brown color. It takes the red completely away. I don't know what that would do to purple, though...Sorry I'm not much help! |
