Greetings all. How are you guys measuring your hair length? Do you
measure an individual strand or the overall length from the front of the
hairline (at your forehead) over the top of you head to the back? Just
wondering.

I measure from the hairline, all the way to the back tips.

...because it's standard and everybody else measures this way too, so that way I can get an idea of comparison.

And measuring that way also gets you a longer result.

Sugaree... take a look at this http://longhair.org/HCP/measuring.htm - page with measuring instructions.

Measuring is a good idea as you can compare your measurements from one month to the next and get an idea of your growth rate (make sure you measure at the same time each month and write it down somewhere...like on your calendar). This allows you to predict what length your hair will be at on a future date too. Alot of members here use a ticker to count down the time until their hair reaches their goal length.  That could be fun too!

After you measure, be sure to let us know how you went
