I'm thinking about installing some wefts for my next install.  Which lasts longer, liquid gold or the bonding strips from shrinkies.net?   Personally, I have a big problem getting stuff to stay in my head.  Latex lasts only 1 day, ChrissyV lasts 3 days at most, keratin usually only lasts 2 months instead of 3.  I don't know if my head is just really oily or what, but for those of you who have used both liquid gold AND the bonding strips, which would you recommend and why?

I'd recommend a sew in

I hate sew ins.  I had one once and it was too bulky, itchy, uncomfortable, and I couldn't style my hair all the ways I wanted to.

Its early days for me, but I'd recommend the bonding strips. I'm like you in that I've had no luck at all with fusion or the latex glue. I can only get liquid gold to stay on my head securely for 2 weeks, and then the edges come away and it starts to sag in the middle (even using sandwich technique)

I've had this test bonding strip on my head for, what, 9 days now... and it hasn't budged at all. Every other glue method I've used has shown some signs of starting to break down and look crappy at this point, but this bonding strip is holding fast! And as far as comfort goes, for a weft method it can't be beaten.

Of course, now I've said all that, it'll probably fall out tomorrow! haha

I did have some teething problems with it which we were talking about in a different thread (called "Just tried my pro-tac bonding strips") but once I got that sorted it's been fantastic!
