I've been measuring myhair for a while now and Im sooo happy becuz last month after a teeny tiny trim i felt so discouraged(b4 i discovered Emergencee) becuz i didnt see a difference from the last month when i measured,, suddenly i see what appears to be a good half an inch,, maybe its all the msm ,, protein and flaxseed ,, its nothing noticeable but to meits great!!,, if i can keep this up then i should have reached my goal of 19in by perhaps sept or oct next year,, ive been usng emergencee on a weekly basis now and my hair breaks eternally less,,, (jst about a mth and a half ago i was sitting at the salon waiting to get a couple of rows of extensions put in and just decided to check my ends and I nearly cried becuz i kept finding hair after hair after hair that had that little 90 degree break towards the end and thats when i decided i needed a protein so i used Emergencee and my ends really look healthy and THICK and the breaks are few and far between!!) ------------- Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED |

That is great improvement. I recently found a split end but I had used a blow dryer with a comb attachment which resulted in so many knots that the S and D was not going to work. So I trimmed them off the best of my ability and I was so upset and sad that it was a set back...BUT then I thought to myself that it will grow back . That was just a few weeks ago and guess what...it appears to be back to the same length. I just took my hair out of a protective style so maybe that was the power to my growth.------------- Natural BC May 9, 2004 |

Cookiesnkream,what is emergencee? Can you
tell me some more about it please? What is it suppose to do? And can I get it
at a salon that sells black hair products? |

Cmesweet,, thats exactly what happened to me about the trim,, i trimmed then found in a month i was at or had beat the previous lengtth!! isnt that such a great feeling?  ,, cuz its a relief,,,,,,,
anyway Gossipqueen,, Nexxus Emergencee is whats called a polymeric reconstructor,, it also has alot of protein,,it is used to strengthen and reinforce the hair ,, after i use it each strand seems thicker and even my ends look healthy,, i use it weekly but that may be too much for some ppl ( i leave it in 10 mins with heat then rinse and SHAMPOO, then deep con with MOISTURE),, also when i let it dry hard into myhair i noticed more breaking that week tho it made my hair reallly pretty,, that method obviously doesnt work for me... but works great for some ------------- Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I know what you mean by set backs..i had like 2 inches cut off, because my hair was growing in uneven..im very discouraged ------------- 4b-natural,shoulder blade length,hair goal of to my bra strap

I had this same experience. My hair always grows in uneven! @ cookie......I'm gonna have to try this emergencee stuff as soon as I use up some of my other protein products. ------------- |

its the same with me, my right side grows faster than my left too...but thankfully it is growing back ------------- 4b-natural,shoulder blade length,hair goal of to my bra strap
