On Thursday, Scarlett Johansson showed up at the "Match Point" premiere
with hair in ringlets just below her shoulders.

Last night she was on "The Tonight Show" with a chin length bob. While the
length was flattering, I didn't like the look of the cut. It appeared uneven on
one side and the back. She was very engaging with Jay though.
If the link doesn't work, it's because this site doesn't work well with Macs.

The link works - you just have to manually copy and paste the link
into your browser window, and cut out the garbage (percent signs
and such) that get inserted where the web address has a line break.
Anyway, I saw the Leno appearance. It's a classic asymmetrical cut,
chin length on her right, sloped down to almost shoulder length on
her left, with long sideswept bangs.
I always wonder why women choose this cut. My only theory is that
the client has an argument with her stylist over length, and this is
how they compromise. I don't think it's flattering (especially having
now seen the far more flattering picture of her at the Match Point
premiere) and I hope it's not the start of an asymmetrical trend.
By the way, in this pic and her Leno appearance, her chest appeared
noticably larger. And she just turned 21. Coincidence?

I'm not sure it is cut. It could be that tuck the hair under trick. That would explain some of the loose pieces (shorter layers) making it appear like an uneven bob. I'm just not sure - I wish it was cut into a short bob - I think she would look great. Here is a link to look for yourself.

I saw her from behind when she faced Jay and it certainly looked cut.

Didn't see the show itself, but the pics look like a faux-bob, not a cut. The hair looks rolled under from the side, not curled/blown under. My vote is for just up, not cut. Incidentally, I also hope thats the case. She looks pretty drab here, compared to her usual looks.

I'm almost certain that's tucked under. Been there, done that and looked boring.

I'm almost positive it's a cut. I saw her on the Leno appearance with
her head turned toward Jay and could see her hair tapered at the
hairline.

Not a cut looking at the link that loveshort&blonde gave us it looks like it's a updo type of thing. You can see it sort of falling in one of the pics. Near the back of her head there is strand that hangs.

Did Jay Leno not mention the new do? He always seems to notice new haircuts on his guests (I think he's one of us).

This is awful. She has dark brown/red hair now. And is that some sort of nose ring? I thought some magazine just picked her as the sexiest babe around. Not any more, if she ever was in the first place.

I would assume it is a look for some movie she is doing, and anyways, she is what? 20, 21? If you can't experiment with your look when you are young, when can you?

SS, I agree. Also, it is not styled & she looks like she has no makeup. Awful picture of a gorgeous, SEXY woman.
As for not being sexy, we do know that some don't consider a woman sexy unless their hair is at least a foot below shoulder-length.

Great suggestion, ssjockey. I was going to say something, but I didn't want to be accused of being the "avitar police." I'm so sensitive.

Lol, good question that .
I'll resize it soon. To be honest, it scared the living s**t out of me when I posted it as I didn't think it was so big.

I like it when girls swear.
About Scarlett: I think she's extremely overrated. I would not have listed her anywhere in the top 100 in FHM's sexiest 100 in the world poll, much less the winner. I could look at the bottom of the list -- Josie Maran, Naomi Watts (a personal shorter-haired favorite of mine), Heather Graham and Vanessa Marcil -- and place all four ahead of Scarlett. I just don't see what others see in her, obviously.
As for her hair, it often looks "rooty." If you're going to dye your hair, for heaven's sake, color the roots!

Kramer,
Let's see. You've posted three times in a thread about a woman you find unattractive, unsexy, & overrated with awful hair.
Little too much time on your hands?

| You counted my posts? Who really has too much time on his/her hands? (Note to Makeitshort: This is No. 4. Use your fingers or have someone show you how to use a calculator if it helps. Note also that only two of the four were on the abovementioned subject of this thread. But you probably already noticed.)

Ummm, OK Kramer (Gord???), I ain't had much learnin' so I does hav lot of spare time. Thank you kindly fur the sugestin, but if you get past five, I have to start usin my toes. If you happens to pass 9, I'll get lost. What's a calcelatur?
I just find it humorous that you post multiple times in a thread about someone you obviously have not interest in, whether or not each post relates to the subject. You still had to spend time to read the posts & the write out a response. I don't bother with threads about people I have no interest in. I follow this thread & read each post because I find Scarlett one of the most gorgeous, sexy women on the planet. Obvioiusly, you don't.
Take care.

I never saw the connection before, but you're right Kramer could very well be Gordo.
Let's review:
-Both rehash threads from months or even years ago.
-Both feel the need to post on just about every thread.
-Kramer became a member about the same time Gordo disappeared.
Makes you think.

Please, that's enough bickering about nothing. I see no reason why people can't post multiple times within a given thread, so long as they offer some additional thoughts, insight, or info.

Anyone else notice in that picture of her with brown hair she has a bull ring in her nose? She never struck me as the type to wear piercings, and if she had a normal nose ring i guess i wouldnt be that suprised but a bull ring in the nose seems over the top for her, that had to hurt! lol
