I have been playing with shrinkies on my own head.  My head is sore the next day and they are not comfortable at all.  I have looked at all the install pics and I believe my partings are small enough,  my bonds lay flat. Maybe too much hair in the shrinkie?

I can't use the tips with nail glue, I had a reaction to the glue.  Can you use the liquid gold without the nail glue?

Kudos to Amm's remover.  I used keratin tipped and shrinkies.  I first thought, "OMG I'll never get this out of my hair!!!" I just let the remover soak for a few min., work it in, and comb out with a fine tooth comb.  Works great!!!

Since I can use keratin, should I use shrinkies with no adhesive?

Thank you!!!

I don't know, I just know at first that it's weird and pulling funny. After a
few days I get used to them and finger comb out the pieces that got
trapped in the other pieces and stuff.

If it still bothers you in a few days, after washings and combings, maybe
it is the glue.

I think the microlite shrinkies have no adhesive, but you have to use
something somewhere to get it to stay...

I've had the shrinkies in for three days now, and at first I thought that there is no way I'm going to be able to stand these on my head.  I'm already getting used to them, though.  They get more comfortable every day.   I would say that unless you're having an allergic reaction, then try to keep them in a week and see if they get better.
