Thought I'd try another post. Perhaps someone can help before our hair appt. this morning.

Teenager with very, very dark brown professionally dyed hair for over a year, wants to get back to original natural hair color which is a mousy blond, but the mousy blond should have highlights in it.

She has an appt. this morning and wants an immediate change if possible.  As a mother, I called salons and getting mixed stories: Color rinse, chemical bleaching scrubs, conditioners, and then they want to put in another lighter brown dye.  Isn't this a lot to do on a teenagers head in one sitting for 4-6 hours or is it normal?

Want to make kid happy but without frying/damaging scalp or hair. Any advice would be appreciated before appt. today. Teenager is a Senior and this is what is on her head for graduation/speech.
