Hi,
I recently dyed my hair using henna. It was supposed to go a warm red but turned out orange. I know that I can't dye it with normal hair dye out but I was wondering if I dyed it with brown henna (my natural colour) would it take out some of the orange.
Thanks

Only a strand test will tell for sure...good luck! By the way it sounds like you chose a shade that was too light for your hair.  Henna is good for using to refresh your natural color.  So probably the brown might work, but I'm not sure.

Hey i just wantet to give my 2 cents, I had natural dark ashbrown hair, then used henna to fresh my colour up and get a warmer colour, so 2 months after i decided to go blonde for the summer, my hair turned orange, then i bleach again with 30% bleach, still orange!

I go to my hairdresser and guess what, the henna has coatet my hair, and the red pigment is IMPOSSIBLE to bleach out, trust me, this has happend to other people as well. You seriosly *have* to grow it out if you want to become a blonde again....:(

To remove henna you use mineral oil and heat and something(dont rember the procedure quite...)

So if you plan on sticking with that shade i say go for it!:) henna makes ur hair babeh soft:D
