Bought some a while ago and all I can say is wow! Ive worn it as wefts for a while and the other day I pretipped it and installed it as shrinkies. This hair gets better and better. I have very very fine hair (think nordic hair) and this hair is so soft and silky, and has such a beautiful wave/curl. Been wearing it almost constantly and I think Im in love. With human hair! Never would have thought If you were afraid of buying it before because of a texture match, seriously, the hair just gets softer and silkier. I give my two thumbs up and now I wanna get that 24" hair Ive been eyeing P.S. It just doesnt tangle, ever! |

What products are you using for the hair? Amm's virgin indian hair has so much body that I'm having trouble taming it. I know how to deal with very fine straight hair, but I have no idea what to do with this hair! |

Aphrodite - I get a tube of E6000, cut a bit of hair off the weft, apply it and roll. Dries in no time too. Mon - All Im using for it is tresseme moisturizing shampoo and Pantene conditioner (I use that one for the silicones in it, makes extension hair very silky). As far as the body, Im not doing anything to tame it, I LOVE how thick and full it is. But if you wanna take it down a notch I would recommend putting some mousse in it while your hair is still damp, comb it through and let air dry, and use a silicone product like frizz ease, it'll weigh it down a bit.

http://www.save-on-crafts.com/e600.html - http://www.save-on-crafts.com/e600.html You can get it at your local craft/hardware store. Dries clear, waterproof, and doesnt warp under the heat from the shrinkie clamp. Its really thick and sticky, which for me makes it easier to work with, and the bits of glue you get on your fingers, just rub them together and it'll come right off in a little ball that reminds me of rubber cement. |

and I would LOVE to post a pic of the new install, but I put my friggin camera somewhere when I came home from canada and I cant FIND the damn thing now. Im about to tear my house up soon to find it though, I have some great pics of my big scary nordic friend in pigtails Im dying to show to his friends... Either way, if I cant find it today I will find it by this weekend. |

Kalika - thanks. I am awaiting my order of this hair from Amm and will be tipping it...I assume the strands will be reusable if the glue doesn't warp...is E6000 better than LG that lots of people use? ------------- |

| LG is a great glue for bonding, but I find it too difficult to pretip with, and some of the glue gets transferred to your own hair under the shrinkie clamp, and the tips get all out of shape once you remove them. with the e6000, the tip is pretty much going to stay the same shape forever, none of the glue will get transferred to your own hair, and you can reuse it with no problem. I used it a lot with my synth hair with no problem. I also pretipped with latex glue, liquid gold glue, and gorilla glue, and my favorite is the e6000. Everyone has their own preferance though, there is no real right or wrong when it comes to pretipping, just make sure that the glue wont melt into your hair unless its MADE for hair. |

FYI- E6000 is silicone glue. I wonder if it would be good to "cushion" your hair if you went with metal locs or links, or whatever they are called? Especially if it wont melt or get funky.. ------------- "No one knows the color of a soul" |

As promised, here is a photo of me wearing Amm's indian hair, in a soft curl pattern, 16" long. Hair was installed with extended length shrinkies, approx 4 ounces give or take. My own hair is 5" long. |

| I have slippery hair, regular shrinkies and glue slides out easier then "normal" hair, so the extended length give me a better hold. I hardly ever have them slide out, and in the last 4 weeks Ive only lost one. |

wow- Not to get too far off topic but--Lets talk about those lips some more! LOL Is it restylane you're getting? I get restylane injections in my nasiolabial folds ( nose to mouth)...keep thinking about the lips but have been afraid they would "overdo" it. Yours look FAB! ------------- |

Thanks :D And yeah, I got the restylane injection. He didnt put anything in my bottem lip, but I got 1cc put in my top lip to pout it a bit. Im very happy with the results, I got the injection in November and its still kicking. |

OK heres a shot of the latest install. First, I DID use a color remover to get rid of the black dye, as I wanted to lighten to my hair to a #4. I removed the color, and dyed it "medium golden brown* Turned out black. After uttering every swear word I know, and inventing some new ones, I just went ahead and colored the asian remy hair black, and shot some brown through it for highlights. I then razored some layers through it.

No its not virgin, I bought this hair from amm's site, it was on sale. Im a sucker for hair on sale Gsmilie - In the front I have a few face framing layers, but the way Im wearing my natural hair it looks like side sweps bangs. |
