Help!  It seems no matter how hard I try I cannot get more that 150 strands (barely) of Lush into my hair.  My hair is very fine with a slight wave and thin (but not thinning).  Is this normal or is my install faulty?  It doesn't look bad but I was hoping to get more hair in this 2nd time!  Any suggestions to help with this install or another DIY method?  Thanks!

Hugs,

Sandy

I have thin fine hair, and I only fit about 120 strands in my hair.   If I used slightly smaller bits of hair, I could probably get to 150, but I have no idea how it would be possible to get 200 + in my hair unless I maybe doubled up the strands.

I'm wearing glued in wefts now, and for me, it's much more comfortable than shrinkies.  I think that's because I had to use so little of my hair to hold the shrinkie and the strand that it seemed to pull too much.  And, as thin as my hair is, when the wind blew, my shrinkies would poke out.

I just counted my strands from my last install and I only had 104 in but they were a good size lol x

Cool, thanks for the feedback...I got about 130 strands in and so far the shrinkies are pretty well hid.  I did use 1/2 size on the top 2 rows and I'll see how they hold.  I plan on doing the cutting myself this time and bought a razor for blending, I bought something called a hair shaper that has a folding handle with a razor on the end.  Will that work?

I did the entire install myself this time and besides some sloppy sectioning and burnt fingers it wasn't to bad.

I really only seem to keep my installs in for about 3 weeks, hopefully with the extra hair I put in and caution with aftercare I can squeeze in 5-6 weeks.

Thank you all for your help and support! Happy New Year!

Hugs,

Sandy
