Ok, so this is my first time posting. Hi! Anyway, I've put hair extensions in
before. I got them at a local beauty supply store, and I glued in the wefts.
The hair held up pretty well but after a few washes it started looking
ratty. I think the brand was pearooster, and it claimed to be human hair. I
was wondering if you could recommend me the best website to buy better
quality hair for a good price. I am a broke college student. Also, you guys
have talked about so many different methods, I was wodering if you could
inform me which one I should try, and what materials I would need.

I would highly recommend http://www.shrinkies.net - www.shrinkies.net   She has good hair, and is even having a sale right now.  I would recommend buying the Pro-tac tape and using those, they are super easy to work with and are really lightweight.  If you buy the pre-tipped hair then I would use the shrinkies method, which is also easy to do (granted not as easy as pro-tac tape) you just need a few more supplies.

I have been wearing my pro-tac install for 3 1/2 weeks now and they are sticking strong!!!

Check out some of the archives on pro-flex and pro-tac.  They will give you some more info on how to instal and how long it should last.
