Ok , Im terribly bored today lol and since my hair is
very happy and have tried soo many products I would
like to share the ones that truly work for me and the
ones that didnt work so well,, I have an awful lot of
barely used products here and have narrowed it
down to just a few
these are the ones i've been using a while and i
feel have really saved my hair:
SHAMPOOS: 1.Creme of Nature Clarifying (i use
this EVERY
week,, for a first lather, its so gentle but cleans
thoroughly
2. Neutrogena Triple Moisture
Cream Lather Shampoo for
second lather)
3. Infusium(blue bottle,, sometimes,, it
may
be bit drying but cleans very well and smells sooo
nice)
CONDITIONERS
1. Neutrogena triple Moisture Mask my HG(
Amazing product and i use
it EVERY single wash ,, i leave it for about 40 mins
with little heat at first
2. Thermasilk ( I use this sometimes Pre wash,,
its a very good conditioner
RECONSTRUCTORS
1. NEXXUS EMERGENCEE( really good recon,,
every hair will feel thicker after,, i shampoo out with
NTM and then use NTM mask( not humectress and
therrape shampoo,, I find therrape shampoo drying
2.K-pak( also good,, its hard to say whether its as
good as Emeregencee but it sure smells good
3.Redken Deep Fuel ( this stuff is good! Im
positive that it works better than K-pak,, I've used it
twice and both times my hair is like silk after and
strong,, it may even be better than Emergencee,, i
shampoo it out also,, i may even give up
Emergencee for this,,,
STYLING PRODUCTS and leave ins
1. Fantasia IC heat protectant spray
(some of the best stuff on earth lol,,, the BEST for
flat ironing ,, utterly the best
2.Phyto 9( amazing stuff,, i dont use serum or oil
anymore ,, nothing but a little of this,, its magic
cream and u DONT know its there ,, it doesnt weigh
ur hair down at all,, but it softens and smooths it
sooo well and i dont have to feel guilty about using
silicones.. so its worth the price since i've given up
all
other products for this and it lasts a long time cuz u
need only a smal amount
3. Nioxin Bliss leave in ( I spray this on after a
wash and condition ) works well to soften
Stuff that didnt work so well for me,,
Infusium spray,, made my hair hard and awful
Mizani Thermelastic,, I thought it was working well
but didnt realize that it was making my hair a little dry
so I switched back to Nioxin Bliss,
Nexxus Therrape,, drying ,, like an ordinary
shampoo ,, yuck
Redken Heat Glide( very heavy,, like wax,, only use
it on desperate days like after i've sweated and i
really need to get the kinks out of my front so I'll just
put some on and iron( one of the ingredients is
candellila wax
if i think of more ill post

I've had that NTM Mask in my hands like 5 times but I always put it back. I think I'm gonna try it soon. It's kinda pricey and I know I'll only get one or two uses out of the jar. How long does one jar last you? Also, where do you get the Redken Deep Fuel?

The NTM mask for me used once a week goes for
only about 3 to 4 weeks so its really not much but u
can dilute it ,, its very very thick stuff,, it just works
sooooooo well, its worth its weight in gold lol,,, and
the Redken Deep Fuel SHOULD be in a good BSS
but I havent been able to find it since i bought it
about a month ago,, i dont know if theyre still
making it?? I hope so,,I really think its better than
Emergencee for me and its supposed to last 8
shampoos,, it comes in a blue box with five little
packs ,, one for each use....

Can you find all of these hair products at the BSS? I live in Michigan
or can you order them over the internet? What is NTM is that the name
of the product or does it stand for something else? I would like to try
these products.

yeah at least try it Pokahantas !! if u dont care
for it u only got one jar but i think u'll love it and if u
do u can mix it with lots of water to spread it further
cuz ur hair is a good deal longer than mine,,, and the
Redken Deep Fuel is the best Recon I have used,, i
went crazy trying all the good ones leaving out
Aphogee lol cuz that stuff scares me and it stank
really bad but compared to Emergencee with can
sort of leave my hair feeling "odd" lol and the K-pak
which im not sure about generally,, the Deep Fuel
leaves my hair silky and works to strengthen it....
Firsttime,, NTM stands for Neutrogena Triple
Moisture and u can get this in any drugstore...
excuse my abbreviations,, im gonna go fill those in
right now and the other products should be in a
local beauty supply and Jc Penney sells Redken
and
Nexxus products also,, except the Phyto 9,, u can
order Phyto products here at hairboutique free of
shipping i believe...

I will give it a try, lol. I just tried Silk Elements Hair Mayonaise deep conditioner and I really liked that. I think I might buy it....but I have so much conditioners to use up . I'm scared of Aphogee also. I bought a sample pack and I can't brind myself to use it. I also just recently bought Motions CPR because I heard so much about it. I hope it's good.

I havent seen Silk Elements,,,I have too many
conditioners too!! and i cant stop buying and trying
hair products,, i was sniffing around the Motions
CPR lol,, when u do give that a try let me know how it
works,, even though Im stuck on NTM ,,and i cant
imagine something better I'm open to trying new stuff
esp if its cheaper ,,, i was afraid of all
reconstructors but now im a brave girl and i use one
weekly but I am wayyy to scared to try Aphogee,, and
the odor really turned me off, it smells strongly like
something organic and not in a good way lol,, it
maybe be the a cheapest but something like
Emergencee really spreads very easily and a little
goes a lonng way so the 14.99 is not a big deal.....

The best hair lotion I've ever used is Pantene's relaxed and natural oil creme moisturizer. My hair really absorbs it in.
Another product I'm crazy about is Profective's Anti-Breakage Strengthener (in the yellow container).
I hate Optimum Oil products. They're just greasy and lay on top of the hair and make your hair dull.
I also love emu oil. A little goes a long way, and it makes my hair shiny and it LASTS in your hair. Just be careful when using it. You have to wear a shower cap at night (not just a scarf) to keep from ruining pillow cases. I usually put my scarf over the shower cap to keep it from sliding off.
Using these three products has really stopped my hair from shedding as much as it used to.

Just as an FYI---I was able to buy my Nexxus products at a BSS but it cost me $50 for a big bottle! I bought the Redken Deep Fuel at Wal-mart. If your Walmart has a super center with a hair salon, check with the salon. I bought it there for $17. And you can purchase Phyto 9 at sephora.com or go to a Sephora store in the mall.

Hi,
This past weekend, I used the Aphrogee and it was a little scary because it got really hard under the dryer. But after I rinsed it out (slowly) and deep conditioned with a mixture of: NTM Mask, Aloe vera gel, honey, evoo and jojoba oil, I did a ACV rinse, my hair was so soft and strong. I did a rollerset and it came out so bouncy and shiney, I didn't know how to act
I won't be scared to use the Aphrogee anymore because I know what to do now with it. Since then, when I comb my hair, very little hair comes out, i mean very little. I am so happy with my hair now. I can't wait to do another rollerset this weekend.

I'm glad I found the products I did. My hair is noticeably stronger. I'm thinking it might be the Profective. It is supposed to be a "hair strengthener".

I like..
SAMY Instant Recurl Spray: It makes my natural new growth defined and less poofy!
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Creme: I put it on my hair day and night and it's a good moisturizer.
Umberto Giannini's Curl Friends(Curl and Twirl) Shampoo: The first time I used it, I thought it was a miracle! I absolutely love it.
Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner: I put it on at the end of ever wash/conditoner only treatment and it makes my hair SILKY smooth.
Garnier Fructis Deep Conditioning 3-Minute Mask: I like to use it for my conditioning only treatments and mix it with water for the second conditioner. It's better than conditioner!

I love Redken Deep Fuel, it is great for breakage and it curbs shedding. Cookiesnkream, I am wondering why you would shampoo after using Emergencee and Deep Fuel. I am not been critical, just wondering the reason why.
