Subject: Micro-bond weft clip-in question

I got my Elite Remy color ring yesterday and am so excited to know my
color -- #2. Now I am going to buy Amm's micro-bond wefts to make a
set of clip-ins until my own hair grows out enough to attach wefts with
Pro-tak tape. My questions are: What is the best way to attach the wefts
to each other when using micro-bond wefts? Can they be machine- or
hand-sewn? Is LG better? Same question about attaching the clips?
Sewing or gluing better? Is it better to match the clips to the color of
your hair or get them scalp-colored, and are there better clips to use to
attach to finer hair? (I'm sure I'll be using MetalGirl's backcomb and spray
method to get them to stick.)

Thanks so much for all your information. I am addicted to this Extension
forum. It has given me hope that my lifetime of stupid hair may be
coming to an end.

I myself like to use salon pro latex glue to put together wefts. Its rediculously cheap. The hold is great.I never had it break down on me.Plus if you wont to seperate them a box cutter or something similar will make fast work of it. I'm sure someone else could help you out with the clips.I have had some decent clips. But none seem to last for long. The clips should match your hair color.

When I make my clip in's I usually zig zag stitch them on the sewing machine or hand sew the weft together.  I always sew the clips on with upholtry thread.

i have used the micro bond wefts before,to double them to make them thicker, i like to sew them with a loop stitch , i have also either glued on the clips or glued them on with liquid gold. i prefer to match the cobs with the color of the weft hair, no one will see it anyway. i would use medium sized ones, not to heavy though.
